Submissions are officially open for the Elysian, so if you're interested in seeing your work published, now is your chance!

Submissions will be open until Monday, March 9th by 11:59pm.

We hope everyone had a great first week of the semester! 

We would like to welcome all of you to our first general meeting THIS THURSDAY January 16th, held at Noon in Dunham 118. If you have any interest in working with us or are just curious, we encourage you to stop by!

The Fall 2019 issue is finally here! Thank you to all that submitted their work and all the staff. Without all of you, we would not have this magazine.

The Elysian and Blue Notes are hosting an OPEN MIC NIGHT on Nov.12th at 6pm in the Spot.

Some updates about Elysian: 

• We are still looking for someone to fill the board position of treasure. 

• We are planning on selling t-shirts. More information coming soon!

• We are planning an open mic event for those to share their work with others! More information will be coming soon!

Some updates about Elysian: 

• We are looking for someone to fill the board position of treasure. 

• Please send all submissions to Mariah Boehl (mboehl01@aurora.edu) at this time. The email elysian@aurora.edu is currently down due to technically problems.

We have a room for our first meeting of the semester! All Elysian meeting for fall 2019 meetings will be held in Dunham, room 118.

Do you love writing, art, or photography? Would you like it published? All you need to do is submit your work to the Elysian!

First meeting of the semester will be on Sept. 5th, 2019! Elysian's meeting are every other Thursday at 12pm. We do not have a location yet but it will be coming soon! We hope to see you there!

We make this magazine for you so a thank you to everyone who came out and supported the magazine at the Launch Party. Thank you to everyone who submitted a piece of writing and photographs. Hope you all have a lovely summer and hope to see you next year!

We would like to remind you that the Elysian's launch party for the Spring edition of our magazine is coming out soon!

Join us as we celebrate the wonderful art and literature published by your fellow AU Spartans.

We will also be having an open mic available to everyone who would like to share any of their work and this is open to all, not only those who were published in the Elysian. 

The launch party will be taking place on April 26th at 7:00 p.m. at the Aurora Public Art Commission. 

The Elysian is excited to inform you all that we will be hosting a fundraiser night at Buffalo Wild Wings at the Aurora location, right down Orchard Road. The event will be held on March 27th, 2019 from 11 a.m. until 11:30 p.m.

Please let your waitress know you are supporting Aurora University's literary magazine, The Elysian.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will be going towards the publication of our Spring edition.
